Schuldenfrei was elected President by TSEA’s Board of Directors in April 2005. He brings with him 25+ years of trade show and association management experience.
Chicago, IL, June 1, 2005 – Stephen Schuldenfrei begins his Presidency at the Trade Show Exhibitors Association with a bold new plan to revitalize the association’s core benefits – Education, Advocacy, and Resources; increase its industry presence; and capitalize on the association’s McCormick Place headquarters. Detailing his plans for the association, Schuldenfrei adds that the exhibit and event marketing industry can expect to see and hear more of TSEA, saying:
“Our presence and impact on the industry will be maximized. In the next month alone, the association will exhibit at the Healthcare Convention & Exhibitors Association’s Annual Convention and exhibit and present a session on ROI at the Destination Showcase – all before July’s TSEA-sponsored TS2®!”
“Additionally, in the coming months, TSEA members will see a greater emphasis on community through the rejuvenation of regional chapters; more electronic-based, relevant education programs and breaking industry news delivered right to their in-box; programs that recognize the importance of their role in the marketing mix; and increased advocacy efforts to ensure that their comments and concerns have an outlet. We hope that our members continue to support us through this transition so we can ensure they get the services expected from a TSEA membership.”
Sal Cavallaro, TSEA’s Chairman of the Board, says that the association is confident in Schuldenfrei’s leadership abilities, commenting:
“TSEA is confident that Steve will lead the association down an exciting new path. He brings with him an abundance of experience, solid industry relationships, and fresh, innovative ideas that will help the association solidify its role as the industry voice for exhibit and event marketing professionals.”
